If the 4th of November is already part of the History books for the election of the first black President of the United States, there is, unfortunately, a sad thing happened that leaves all of us poorer: Michael Crichton died at 66.
Crichton was an accomplished writer (Eaters of the Dead), best-seller novelist ( Jurassic Park, The Andromeda Strain - I translated this novel to Brazilian Portuguese a decade ago) and a good filmmaker (The Great Train Robbery, Westworld). He also created and co-produced the famous TV show E.R.. He will be missed by millions of fans in the whole world. Expect reviews of some of his best books soon here.
