Got excellent news yesterday night: my friend (and former co-blogger) Jacques Barcia has just sold a story to the upcoming Shine: An Anthology of Optimistic SF, edited by Jetse De Vries for Solaris Books. The Greenman Watches the Black Bar Go Up, Up, Up will be published in April 2010 - but you can already pre-order it ar Amazon.com.
Jacques will be in excellent company, along with some of the world's most talented SF writers (including Alastair Reynolds, Kay Kenyon and Jason Stoddard) and new writers from all over the globe like Aliette de Bodard, Silvia Moreno-Garcia,and Paula Stiles.
